The left/right front speaker reproduces the dialogue, music and movie soundtrack and some ambience which plays at edges of the screen. The center speaker reproduces the dialogue and centered sound effects. They should keep an identical acoustic effect together with left/right speakers. SensaSound attaches importance to the design of surround speakers because it can greatly elevate the sound field ambience in a home theater system. For surround speakers we adopts dipole design which is distinguished us from traditional surround speakers. We placed a tweeter and a cone driver in the front and two identical mid-range drivers at both sides. This design allows the front radiator to perform direct sound into the listening position while the side drivers operate in a dipole way to deliver a much diffusing and enveloping sound filed, which brings the integrated performance into a much higher level.

The front speakers should always keep at the same horizontal level with the audience ear height, if not, then you should keep their height difference at least within 24”. This is because man’s ear is more sensitive to horizontal position rather than vertical position. Do not place any sofa or furniture between the speakers and listening positions. For surround speakers, the best height is above 26” from audience’s ears which is generally 70” to 80” above the ground. Surround speakers should form a 90-110° angle to center speaker, while the rear speakers form a 135°-150° angle to the center speaker.
